Anne Buckle

Web Editor & Journalist

Portrait of Anne.

Anne Buckle is an established journalist and web editor who has been part of timeanddate.com since 2014. She is a familiar face to viewers around the world as the producer and co-host of our eclipse live streams, which she has presented since 2017 alongside our colleague Graham Jones. Together, they host several live shows every year.

She is also the editor of timeanddate.no, so she has written about almost all of the topics that timeanddate covers, including time zones and DST. Today, she mostly writes astronomy news like our Moon Guide, skywatching tips, and eclipses, of course.

Anne has over two decades of storytelling experience, having previously worked as a photojournalist in local print media. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and a journalism degree from the University of Stavanger.

When she’s not in front of the camera or behind the keyboard, she enjoys photography, nature, food, and hiking—not necessarily in that order.

I love making the sky above us accessible for everyone. From pointing out planets next to the Moon, to getting people excited about the magic of eclipses live from the path of totality.
