Renate joined the timeanddate.com team in 2024. She holds a PhD in Cosmology from the Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics at the University of Oslo, Norway, applies her expertise to enhance the astronomy content on both timeanddate.com and timeanddate.no.
As our in-house data analyst, Renate frequently analyzes large datasets for patterns and trends. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing, reading, and curling up on the sofa with a steaming hot cup of tea.
I love that we get to share the wonders of the Universe through our astronomy content. Keeping it both accurate and accessible is important, and I really enjoy diving headfirst into rabbit holes to dig up the nitty-gritty details.
